A ready-to-use formulation that contains a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including beta-lactamase-producing strains. Each mL contains ceftiofur crystalline free acid equivalent to 200 mg ceftiofur, in a Miglyol® and cottonseed oil–based suspension. Indicated for treatment of the following conditions: CATTLE: Bovine respiratory disease (BRD, shipping fever, pneumonia) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni in beef, non-lactating dairy, and lactating dairy cattle. Also indicated for the control of respiratory disease in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle that are at high risk of developing BRD associated with M. haemolytica, P. multocida, and H. somni. Administer SQ. HORSES: Lower respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible bacterial strains of Streptococcus equi ssp. zooepidemicus. Administer IM.
